Ivan Sergejev holds the position of Coordinator for the just transition process at the Estonian Ministry of Finance. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading Estonia's TJTP, including information gathering, stakeholder coordination, outreach efforts, and negotiations with the European Commission. Currently, his focus is on the effective implementation of the TJTP, which involves tasks such as curating the process of drafting of relevant regulations, evaluating projects, and engaging in extensive regional communication related to the just transition process. An architect and city planner by training, Ivan has gained previous professional experience in Estonia, Netherlands and the US.
