Damir Horvat works as an expert partner in ESG and sustainable finance. He is elected Associate Fellow (AFIEAust) of the Engineers Australia (EA) and holds an M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Ecole Supérieure Robert de Sorbon, France and specialised certification programme in Energy Innovations & Emerging Technologies (EIET) from the prestigious Stanford University School of Engineering. He has more than 30 year's of global experience in the onshore and offshore upstream oil, and gas sector, decarbonisation technologies, pre-FEED/FEED, Technical Limit, Engineering Execution, Value Assurance Review (VAR) Framework and in cross-border carbon dioxide (CO2) transport networks with EU projects (e.g. CINEA / CEF-Energy call projects) by JV Operators/ Participants such as TotalEnergies, Shell, EBN, Gasunie, Vopak and Air Liquide.
Damir has technical expertise in discipline engineering - wells, integrity management, CCS/CCUS, hydrogen, and geothermal energy, including technical screening criteria on the reuse of oil and gas infrastructure for hydrogen and CCS in Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America including but not limited to conformance with international standards as well as experience with different EU funding schemes.
