Sarah Morgan is the Programme Manager for the Midlands Regional Enterprise Development Office, working across the Midlands Region and responsible for the management and co-ordination of the Midlands Regional Transition Team (MRTT) Steering Committee and its constituent working groups. The MRTT was established in response to the acceleration of the decarbonisation process of the peatlands and the need to address the resultant regional socio-economic impacts. She holds a wealth of experience in all aspects of regional development and, in particular, multi-level Stakeholder Engagement. She has successfully integrated the twin transitions -green and digital, into regional enterprise policy. She was central to the to the preparation of the TJTP throughout the evidence collation and draft consultation phase. Sarah has extensive expertise in the diversification of regional economy.
