Dr. Padraig Molloy is an experienced Consultant Engineer with a strong academic background, having studied at and been employed by institutions such as the University of Galway, Imperial College London and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Germany. His research and technical expertise covers a wide range of topics, including built environment energy management systems, wave energy, peat processing, and low GWP refrigerants. Furthermore, Molloy has a notable industrial track record, particularly in the transport, biomedical, and manufacturing sectors, with a specific emphasis on improving energy and process efficiency. In addition, he has actively participated in EU research administration, engaging with all framework programs from 1992 to the present day. He has also worked extensively over the past 20 years as a project management consultant for Irish companies seeking to define and fund inhouse R&D activity.
