Ondřej Slach currently works as Assistant Professor and Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Development at the University of Ostrava. As a senior expert, he gained experience in the support to the preparation of Territorial Just Transition Plans in the Czech Republic. Additionally, he has been working as an external consultant for the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic with a special focus on the transition of coal regions since 2019.
