Montserrat Mir Roca currently works as an independent consultant on various Just Transition issues. She has been Special Advisor at the Just Transition Centre of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) for several years. Her professional experience is based on her work with trade unions to place climate action and just transition in the trade union agendas and promote social dialogue as a key tool to achieve lasting results. Among other projects, she supervised the ETUC's projects to develop a guide about 'Involving trade unions in climate action to build a just transition' as Confederal Secretary responsible for climate change and energy. Moreover, she has been co-designing and developing the project of the International Climate Initiative's Program Proposal on 'Innovation Regions for a Just Energy Transition'.
