Małgorzata Misiak, based in Lodz, is an experienced professional specialising in regional development and EU cohesion policy. As Deputy Director of the JTF Department of the Marshal Office of the Lodz Region, Misiak manages a substantial budget of around €355 million for the implementation of the JTF. She leads the development of tailor-made support programmes for local SMEs, based on stakeholder needs, local institutions and best practices from coal-dependent regions in transition. With a strong background in overseeing ESF operations, particularly in the area of upskilling and retraining of workers, Misiak brings innovative solutions to the table. She has been also responsible for the programming of specific objectives in EFS+ interventions and the design of the "soft" aspects of the JTF for the Lodzkie region.
