Gerard Corcoran has a long-standing career in the fields of technology and green industries, spanning 40 years. He has worked with Global Technology companies for 40 years and lived and worked in most Western European countries. Over the past two years, he has played a key role in shaping the Joint Transition for the Irish Midlands, specifically focusing on the Shannon Valley and West Offaly regions. His work includes initiatives such as the ICT Academy, advancements in Digital Twin technology, and the establishment of Communiversity (Community-Based University). Gerard is actively involved in sustainability projects, including the retrofitting of historical sites and the promotion of regenerative tourism. He is supporting Just Transition projects from other countries in learning from the Irish Just Transition experience.
