Gabriel currently works as Professor of Social Security Law and Director of the Social Administration Research Lab at the University of West Attica (Athens). He has more than 30 years of experience in capacity building and research assignments related to the areas of (EU and national) employment, social economy and active inclusion. He is very familiar with the design, monitoring and support to national / regional / local employment and active inclusion projects in Greece and abroad. Results of his work have been used for the design of the Greek 2021 TJTP “North & South Aegean Islands and Crete”, the design of the Greek 2021 Operational Programme “Just Development Transition” and the design of the Greek “National Social Inclusion Strategy for the Roma 2021-2027".
