Emilija Sarafska currently works as Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Advisor at the municipality of Bitola in the Republic of North Macedonia. Her background is in public relations, communication, and journalism. She holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. She is a Member of the Initiative for Coal Regions in Transition in the Western Balkans and Ukraine, Member of the CARI Initiative- Energy Community, author of a manual on energy efficiency developed in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and actively involved in the preparation and implementation of the Just Transition diagnostics in North Macedonia and a constultant on several projects.
