Csaba Vaszko is a dedicated self-employed consultant specialising in Just Transition projects. He actively contributes to various initiatives, including the TSI project, which focuses on calls for the Hungarian Just Transition Fund, and the START programme, which aims to green the economy of Heves County. He played a coordinating role in the design and building of the partnership for the LIFE-IP-North-HU-Trans project, which was submitted and approved in 2020 and aims to facilitate the transition of the region of the Matra Power Plant. He played a key role in coordinating the groundwork for the development of Transition and Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTPs) in Heves and Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen counties, working closely with the European Commission and Hungarian decision makers and numerous local stakeholders. His contributions continued into 2021 as he actively participated in the detailed development of TJTPs for three Hungarian counties (Baranya, BAZ and Heves).
