Corina Murafa is an independent public policy expert and university lecturer in climate, energy and sustainability, having worked for the World Bank, European Commission, Frankfurt School of Management, OMV Petrom, Deloitte, Ashoka, national governments and think tanks. Her work focuses mainly on just energy transition and energy poverty and she gives a voice to civil society organisations working in this sector through her position in the plenary of the Romanian Economic and Social Committee. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She acted as a team leader assisting Romania in drafting its Territorial Just Transition Plans and is now assisting the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a similar process. In the context of the just energy transition process, she has experience in issues such as stakeholder engagement, economic diversification, and energy communities.
