Barbara Di Piazza is professional with extensive expertise in European Territorial Cooperation. With a career spanning back to 2002, she has held key roles as Programme Director for various Interreg programmes including Interreg IIIC East, Interreg IV B Central Europe, Interreg IV A Italy-France Maritime, Interreg V B Adriatic Ionian and her current position as Programme Director of Interreg VI-B IPA Adriatic Ionian. Barbara's experience includes the development, coordination and management of calls for proposals, involving the direct evaluation of numerous project proposals, averaging 250-300 per call, planning and use of technical assistance budget, monitoring and evaluation. Her focus is on critical issues such as the environment, circular economy, innovation, transport and urban mobility, as well as nature conservation and climate change. In addition, Barbara excels at mobilising diverse stakeholders to form multi-level partnerships, including triple and quadruple helix collaborations.
