Adina Vintan currently works on urban development projects in Romania and Eastern Europe, mostly in regions undergoing transition from polluting industries. She is also the founder of a local development NGO and of the Engaged Jiu Valley NGO coalition in the former coal mining region of Jiu Valley in Romania, where she is involved in community development projects and citizens' engagement.
