Petra Marinko is an architect, project developer and sustainability practitioner working at the intersection of architecture, materials and the built environment. Based in Slovenia’s Zasavje, former coal mining region, her work connects spatial regeneration, circular economy, material health and regional development in the context of the JT. She is involved in the EU-funded Pathways2Resilience project, suppocrting the Municipality of Trbovlje in strengthening local resilience and transition strategies. Founder of the Non Tox Uni Kum initiative and the Non Tox Hub Institute, focusing on healthier materials and spatial health in the built environment. As a New European Bauhaus advisor and practitioner, she contributes to pilot projects translating European policy frameworks into practice. Her work connects municipalities, research organisations and practitioners working on sustainable regenerative development.
