Milot Morina is a Project Manager who has showcased expertise in climate strategies at Germanwatch e.V, specializing in coal structural change and energy transition projects within the Western Balkans. He has a proven experience in stakeholder coordination across seven countries, resource allocation, and enhancing project visibility through strategic media engagement. Additionally, Milot has a deep understanding of regional climate policies such as the EU Green Deal and the Green Agenda for Western Balkans. With an ability for advocacy, networking, and policy analysis, he aims to drive the just transition of carbon-intensive regions, aligning his experience with the mission of JTF.
Milot currently works as a Fellow at the Ministry of Economy at the Energy Department of the Government of the Republic of Kosova. His role is centered on contributing to the National Energy and Climate Plan, particularly focusing on CO2 pricing and carbon markets. He collaborates closely with various line ministries and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and coherence in strategies that advance Kosovo's energy transition agenda. Additionally, he worked hand-in-hand with the Office of the Prime Minister on drafting the Reform Agenda, which is a crucial component of the EU Growth Plan, aiming to foster economic development and sustainable growth in Kosova.
