Miguel Rivas is an international expert and principal of TASO, a consultancy boutique he founded in 2007. TASO specialises in providing analysis and policy support for place-based economic development and innovative urban policies, often working internationally. Miguel has extensive experience in several regions, including Moravia-Silesia, Silesia, Rhône-Isère, Prahova, Keski-Suomi, Crete, Asturias, Almería, Cádiz and Córdoba. His career has been dedicated to revitalising urban economies and exploring new drivers of growth. As a lead expert in the URBACT programme, Miguel has provided invaluable technical assistance to over 35 local and metropolitan authorities, including those in JTF eligible areas.
