Dr Clio Kenterelidou (Ms) is a communication scholar and practitioner specialising in public, strategicand political communication, with over 25 years of academic and professional experience. She is anassistant professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, Aristotle University ofThessaloniki, Greece. She holds a PhD in Public and Political Communication (AUTh, GR), an MA inCommunication (University of Leeds, UK), and a degree in Economics (AUTh, GR). 

Her researchfocuses on public communication, strategic communication, communication for development andsocial change, crisis communication, media and journalism, and democratic participation. She hasextensive expertise in Just Transition territories, particularly Western Macedonia, where she hascontributed to the design and implementation of public communication strategies supporting the TJTPand JTM processes. She has served as a Seconded National Expert at the European Commission (DGCOMM) in Strategic and Political Communication (2021–2024). 

She combines academic research withhands-on EU policy communication experience. She has authored several publications and participatesin international research networks such as the European Communication Monitor (ECM) and the GlobalEnvironmental Journalism Initiative (GEJI), and in elections observations missions (EU,OSCE/ODIHR, UN). She is also an expert evaluator for European research and education programmes.
