Jummai Vandu is an Assistant Chief Chemical Engineer at Nigeria’s National Council on Climate Change, where she supports Energy and Just Transition initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders and development partners, she works towards the implementation of Nigeria’s Just Transition Guidelines and Action Plan (JT-GAP). Her work focuses on creating socially inclusive pathways through economic diversification, workforce upskilling, and data-driven project pipelines. She brings technical expertise in mitigation and adaptation actions, circular economy solutions, Low carbon technology and Pollution Control. By bridging the gap between EU and Global South transition challenges, she is dedicated to ensuring climate actions prioritize  energy security, social equity and smart climate policy coordination.
