Eva Kofova is a dedicated Project Manager at the Mayors Office in Sokolov, Czech Republic, with a remarkable track record in regional development. Her expertise spans from the national to the local level, where she has been instrumental in shaping the Territorial Just Transition Plan (TJTP) for Czech Republic. Eva played a pivotal role in negotiations with the European Commission, ensuring compliance and making necessary amendments in English. Her focus on the Karlovy Vary region underscores her commitment to tailored solutions. Eva excels in stakeholder engagement, fostering collaboration among various parties to drive meaningful change. Currently, she is spearheading efforts to prepare the local TJTP Sokolovsko, uniting mayors, employers, and regional authorities, while receiving support from key organizations like JTP Groundwork. Eva's dedication extends beyond her region, as she actively participated in international initiatives such as RE:START, working on economic restructuring strategies for coal regions. Eva Korfova has recently started to work for the local action group MAS Sokolovsko in her region as a project manager on a project called "Improving the position of Women in the labour markets of peripheral Industrial regions", shortly WIN. The overall objective of WIN is to improve the position of women workers in peripheral industrial regions, contributing to a more accessible, inclusive, and effective labour market for women.
